About Attorney John Wait

John Wait serves as General Counsel to the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®. John joined Martin & Gifford after founding his own firm and clerking for several judges at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He spent his first eight years in the firm practicing trial and appellate litigation. He now uses that valuable background to draft forms and give advice and guidance to brokers, real estate firms, local boards of REALTORS®, and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®.

In his free time, John enjoys coaching and playing soccer, cycling, reading novels, and spending time with his family. He is also the former mayor of Clemmons, North Carolina.
